On May 9, 2024, the ISS transmitted pictures for radio amateurs, in accordance with the plan experiment october 8-14.

Orbit No. 1- around 11-20 October 9, 2024

It was possible to partially receive 2 images from the ISS. The first SSTV image shows the artificial earth satellite launched by the USSR on October 4, 1957. The satellite code designation is “PS-1"

In the second SSTV image you can read the call sign NA1SS, the title "Facts about the scientist" and the inscription in Russian:

As receiving equipment I used a sensitive radio station Retevis RT-85 and an Opek VU-1503 antenna on the roof of the car. It seemed to me that the reception was much worse than in previous years. The car antenna may have deteriorated,magnetic base or cable with adapter.

There were no signs of a signal in St. Petersburg on 145.800 MHz.
