On computers running Windows 10, along with the 21H1 update, a graphic element appeared that interferes with operation - news from Microsoft in English.

Disabling News in Windows 10 Pro

A feed is a stream of information output to a local PC from a remote Internet server, which forms a news feed.

Disabling news is done using the Group Policy Editor:

gpedit.msc

"News and interests"

"Turn on news and interests in the taskbar"

In the "Enable interests and news on the taskbar" parameter, instead of "Not specified" specify "Disabled".

The result will be noticeable after logging into the current user's profile.

Turn off news in Windows 10 Home

System policy editor program gpedit.msc not available in the home version of Windows 10.

In Windows 10 Home, you need to right-click on the taskbar,
select a context menu item "News and interests"- open submenu -"Disable".
