The identification call sign is registered at the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRFC), and the equipment is registered at the regional Roskomnadzor. In connection with the transition to online services, the applicant’s office of the GRCHTS was opened. I will share my experience in renewing an amateur radio call sign and registering radio-electronic equipment.

Due to the accessibility of the balcony at my place of stay, I decided to install the Ground Plane antenna on all amateur bands 7-28 MHz, and, if I can tune it, then on 3.6 MHz. After several years of using the Yaesu VX-6r portable transceiver, it developed an unpleasant drawback - quiet modulation in the 144 MHz range. Symptoms - at the repeater’s “round table” the presenter could not make out the call sign, and when answering a regular call, the correspondents ran away in fear with the words “sorry, I can’t receive you, see you later.” 😏 The reason for this is the reduced modulation level, which appears as a quiet and unintelligible signal.
