The AK-02 telegraph key has arrived from China

A parcel arrived with a telegraph key from China.

To better transmit by telegraph, I ordered a telegraph key printed on a 3D printer from China.
Such orders are one of the components of the hobby, since the telegraph key is not initially included in the radio station kit, you have to choose a CW manipulator based on ease of use, weight, and dimensions. For example, lightweight keys without protruding parts are more suitable for moving or field conditions. It is important that they do not take up much space so that they can be put in your pocket.

Receiving a parcel with key AK-02

1) This time the parcel machine was not in a grocery store, but in... A pharmacy, in the far building of the shopping center. It was difficult to find a Cainiao machine for dispensing parcels.

8) The AK-02 telegraph key is a small black box, with two red petals for iambic mode transmission and a 3.5 mm jack for connecting the cable to the transceiver.

A cable for connecting to a transceiver or an external electronic key is included. Flexible and quite long, 1.5 meters in appearance.

The key worked immediately when connected to the Ultra PicoKeyer electronic key.

The clicks are clear and unambiguous. The stroke of the petals is neither small nor large - just right for speeds of 13-23 WPM. Reassigned dots and dashes using the dongle menu, because... By default there is a dot under the thumb and a dash under the index finger (according to the classics). I'm used to pressing dots with my index finger and dashes with my thumb, because... I am not a telegraph professional.
