To convert the video, a Hybrid program has been developed, which is free for any use.

For Linux, the full version of the tools and dependencies should be loaded: "Hybrid Linux64bit (With Base Tools and Most Dependencies)."
The 7Z archive needs to be unpacked to the home folder while maintaining the structure of catalogs. Since the archive has a Hybrid folder, the same folder will also be created in the home directory.

Launch

Just make a double click on the executable Hybrid file.

The main Hybrid window

In the upper part of the window there are bookmarks for setting (configuration) of the program.
In the lower honor of the window there is a magazine of work and a launch button (right).

Configuration

If ordinary videos (more than 10 minutes), configuration is not required.
In the presence of video clips (chapters), the length is shorter than 10 minutes, you need to set up

After starting. On the first bookmark of the program, we select:

1. Container mp4 or mkv
2. Select source file or folder video_ts
3. We indicate the codec in proocessing (processing):

4. 4. If direct coding with DVD is used, put a checkmark DVD Input
5. Specify the final folder and the name of the file result recoding.

Note: For films shorter than 10 minutes when choosing a DVD folder, an error message will arise

The program perceives the short chapter as a "dummy" or a screensaver. Therefore, the message about the removal of the chapter with a length of less than 600 seconds.

Extended coding settings - bookmark No. 2

On the bookmark No. 2, you can choose the video coding algorithm.
The easiest - constant quantitatizer , which we select

2. The power of the algorithm is 20 (the higher, the greater the degree of compression)
3. Processing depth in "Presset" for example, Fast or Medium

For the algorithm of the average bitrate (default)

1. Select the item "Specific Filesize/Bitrate 2 Pass"

Instead of the stream, we can specify the maximum size of the output file (remember that the capacity of CD-R is adopted 700 MB):

1. Select "Target Size (MIB)" and in the parameters instead of bitrate, indicate the desired size in the MIB.
   Where 1 mebibyte (mib or mib) = 2 ^{20 </ Sup> byte = 1 048 576 byte byte. CD-R capacity is 702 MB or 736 966 656 bytes or 702.82 MIB.}
