Why is the Shortwave app not working in 2026?

A Linux application for listening to Internet radio stations has stopped working in Russia.

The Shortwave app no longer works. More precisely, all radio stations disappeared in it.
When you click the "Add new stations" button, you get the error "Unable to obtain station data. No connectivity with radiobrowser server."

Reason: IP address 91.98.4.78 corresponding to the host is blocked in Russia all.api.radio-browser.info, which is used to get a list of radio stations.
The all.api.radio-browser.info domain is accessible via IPv6 from abroad; there is no connection to it via IPv4.
