Since 2018, the standard for transmitting radio amateur ostens with 4 tones - the so -called Pi4 has been rooted in the world.

In addition to transmitting a digital sequence, the beacon transfers the carrier and call sign in Morse code.
The program for taking "Pi RX" exists for Windows and Linux, is available on the hyperlink above.

For example, the closest to St. Petersburg beacon RB1CA works in Pi4 mode 144.420 from the QTH locator KP51BA (city Priozersk). It works continuously.

The beacon uses 3-element square antenna for band 144 MHz from vendor R-Quad. It is directed to the southeast. The power of the transmitter is 5W, the height of the installation is 35 meters above the ground, 24 meters above the ground.
