Method of recording stream sound or video using a VLC player.

I tell my way of recording sound.

1) menu tools - settings (ctrl+p)
2) Remove the box "Allow only one copy" .
3) save VLC1
4) menu media - open url
5) Source - "Network" .
6) enter the network address ( url )
7) Under the bottom, select "Convert (alt+o)" .
8) Put a nasty against "Save the input flow" ,

в поле "конечный файл" укажите имя файла для сохранения записи (с расширением MP4 для видео или MP3 для звука).
9) Начать. Начнётся запись и одновременной воспроизведение видео.

For self-control of the sound recording of the Internet radio station parallel with the recording of the source flow:
1) Start recording the flow as indicated above.
2) Launch the second copy of VLC, in which in the menu "Media - Open URL" - "Network" - enter the same url stream and click the "Reproduce" .


Example:
1) Allow the launch of several copies of VLC as written in the third paragraph from above.
2) On the page "Radio Maria" there is a page ["live broadcast"](https: //radiomaria.ru/on_air/) And on it the link "reeper player 1" - you need to copy it (the right mouse button) to the clipboard.
3) Run the first copy VLC
4) Media - Open URL - Source - "Network" - enter a network address ( url )

10) Media - Open URL - Source - "Network" - enter the network address ( url ) and click "Reproduce" .
11) After the end of the transmission, press the "stop" (square) button in both players.

In the home directory (or where it was indicated by you) is a file with a record:
