Method of recording stream sound or video using a VLC player.

I tell my way of recording network streaming sound source to the file.

1) Goto menu Tools - Settings (Ctrl+P)
2) Remove the checkbox "Allow only one copy".
3) Save
4) Goto menu Media - Open URL
5) Source - "Network".
6) enter the network address (URL)
7) Under the bottom, click the triangle next to the button "Play" and select option "Convert (Alt+O)".
8) Select checkbox "Save the input flow",
On the top: Source: URL of the radio station or video recorder,
on the bottom, in the "Destination file" field, specify the file name to save the recording (with the MP4 extension for video or MP3 for audio).
9) Click the Start button. Recording and simultaneous audio or video playback will begin.

To monitor the audio of an internet radio station while recording the original audio stream, run two instances of VLC in parallel:
1) In the first instance of VLC, start recording the broadcast as described above.
2) Launch the second instance of VLC. In the "Media" menu, go to "Open URL" > "Enter network address" (enter the URL of the stream source) and click "Playback" button.

Example:
1) Allow the launch of several copies of VLC as written in the third paragraph from above.
2) On the page "Radio Maria" there is a page "live broadcast" And on it the link "Player 1" - you need to copy address of the hyperlink (with the right mouse button) to the Clipboard.
3) Run the first copy VLC
4) Media - Open URL - Source - "Network" - enter a network address (URL)
7) Under the bottom, select "Convert (Alt+O)".
Indicate the file name for recording.


8) Click "Start".
9) Launch a -second copy of VLC_ (for self-monitoring/observation) and in it select menu Media - Open URL - source - "Network" - enter the network address (URL)
10) Media - Open URL - Source - "Network" - enter the network address (URL) and click "Playback".
11) After the end of the transmission, press the "Stop" (square symbol) button in both players.
