Generator APRS passcode in LibreOffice Calc tab

There are many websites that can calculate a code that will allow you to connect to APRS servers over TCP-IP. This article provides a homemade version of an APRS code generator for the LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet application.

Usage.

1) After downloading the table file, you need to open it in LibreOffice Calc.
2) Depending on the length of the callsign, open the ch3, ch4, ch5 or ch6 tab.
3) Enter your callsign in the vertical column - in CAPITAL Latin letters. For exampleR

4) The result of the APRS passcode calculation is displayed in the last column, in the cell that is circled and highlighted in orange.

The resulting code can be entered into the APRSdroid window after installation at the first launch: callsign and passcode. The passcode is not needed to transmit APRS data via radio (AFSK), but only via TCP-IP.----

For your information. To enhance APRS security and authenticate the sender, a special mode with SSL certificate confirmation using LoTW and TrustedQSL certificate manager has been developed: SSL works with extreme APRS-IS servers. I have not tested this SSL mode due to the lack of TQSL. The proposed passcode generator is useful for connecting to regular, not experimental APRS-IS servers.
