Following the Divine Liturgy and prayer service, a memorial service for those who died during the Great Patriotic War was held in the Park of Memory and Military Glory, and the 81st pine tree was planted.

More than 8,000 soldiers died or went missing in action on the Ligovo — Staro-Panovo front during the Great Patriotic War.
To date, we know the names of approximately 2,000 soldiers, militia members, and commanders who defended Leningrad.
We were able to identify the names of the fallen through research into Ministry of Defense documents, military commissariat archives, military units, and the memoirs of war veterans. The work to preserve the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland continues.
