After the Divine Liturgy of prayer, a memorial service for those killed during the Great Patriotic War took place in the Park of Memory and Military Glory and the 81st pine was planted.

During the Great Patriotic War, more than 8,000 soldiers died or went missing on the Ligovo-Staro-Panovo front.
Today we know about 2000 names of soldiers, militias, commanders who defended Leningrad.
It was possible to establish the names of the dead by working with documents from the Ministry of Defense, archives of military registration and enlistment offices, military units, and the memoirs of war participants. Work to preserve the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland continues.
