Semi-automatic tuning

Press and hold TUNING ^ or TUNING v to start a semi-automatic search for radio stations up or down in frequency. The reception numbers will change quickly on the display. When a radio station is found, the search will stop and audio from that channel will begin to play.

Fully automatic setup and saving

Press the MEMORY button for 2 seconds and the receiver will begin a fully automatic search for radio stations. Channels on which a signal is detected will be stored in memory.

The three tuning methods can be used in combination to find radio stations faster.

Manually saving frequency to memory

Tune to a radio station using one of the methods described above. To save a setting to memory:
*short press the MEMORY button. The memory cell number will light up on the display.

  • to change the number of the memory location for saving, press TUNING ^ or TUNING v. For each range there are 29 memories 1-29.
  • To save to a memory location, briefly press MEMORY again.
The frequency will be saved in the specified cell, and the old value of the frequency stored in it will be replaced with a new one.

Total number of memory cells: 29 MW, 29 SW and 29 FM, a total of 87 channels.

Recalling a frequency from memory

After storing frequencies fully automatically or manually into memory as described above, you can recall frequencies to tune to.

  • short press the M+ button to enter channel mode.
  • you can navigate through the channels stored in memory by repeatedly pressing the M+ button
  • You can also press M+ once to switch to channel mode and then use the TUNING ^ or TUNING v buttons to quickly move up or down channels. In memory channel mode, the display will show "M". After three seconds of inactivity, the "M" symbol and channel address will disappear from the display.

Saving and recalling your favorite radio stations

Saving favorite channels into memory is intended for those users who often listen to their favorite radio station.
To use this mode:

  • tune to the desired frequency using the TUNING ^ or TUNING v buttons
  • press and hold the FAVORITE button. If FAVORITE flashes once on the display, then this frequency has been successfully saved to the FAVORITE list.

While in any mode, you can call up your FAVORITE station by briefly pressing the FAVORITE button. The radio will switch to playing your FAVORITE radio station.

Volume adjustment

Using the Antenna

In the short wave (SW) and ultra-short wave (FM) bands, use a 360-degree rotating whip antenna, extending it to its full length. If strong reception causes distortion or interference of radio stations, fold one of the whip antenna sections.

Listening to medium waves (MW):
The receiver has a built-in magnetic medium wave (MW) antenna that is directional when receiving radio signals, so you can rotate the radio body to improve radio reception.

Display backlight

For use especially at night, the receiver display is equipped with a backlight. Pressing any button lights up the display for 5 seconds, then if no buttons are pressed, the backlight turns off automatically to save energy.

9/10 kHz step switching in medium wave (MW) mode

To switch between 9 and 10 kHz steps, press the MW key for 3 seconds when switched off. A number will light up on the display - the currently set step in the medium wave range. Change the pitch as necessary using the TUNING ^ and TUNING v buttons. After waiting 2 seconds, the selected step will be saved.

The step of radio stations in the medium wave range of 10 kHz is used in the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries of North and South America, and 9 kHz in other parts of the world. The default step is 9 kHz and there is no need to switch it - translator's note.
